Under the chairmanship of Lydia Izovitova, the head of the National Bar Association of Ukraine (NAAU), a standing collegial body, the Committee on Digitalization of Legal Practice, has been formed. The practicing lawyer and Doctor of Law, Andriy Prykhodko, was appointed to lead this committee.
This important body, which will focus on two key areas: the digitalization of self-government bodies of lawyers and promoting the overall digitalization of the legal profession. This, in combination, can contribute to increasing the efficiency and accessibility of legal services for citizens and entrepreneurs. The implementation of digital technologies in self-government bodies of lawyers allows for improving management processes and ensuring more efficient interaction between lawyers and clients. In addition, the general digitalization of the legal profession contributes to improving the quality of legal services, speeding up document preparation and information exchange processes, as well as providing more transparent and efficient interaction with clients. This can also contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of lawyers and strengthening their positions in the legal services market. The Committee on Digitalization of Legal Practice under the leadership of Andriy Prykhodko takes on important tasks aimed at improving the legal sphere through the use of modern technologies.
These tasks include:
- Optimization of management systems and databases. This will speed up processes and increase the efficiency of the committee's work, eliminating delays and improving access to information.
- Integration with existing registries. It will provide unified and convenient access to information about specialists, improving coordination of activities.
- Monitoring and analysis of digital tools. Together, this will help identify the most effective options for overcoming problematic situations.
- Creation of an online registry of digital services. This task aims to facilitate specialists' access to modern tools and resources.
- Organization of forums and conferences for sharing experiences. This will create a more favorable atmosphere for the development of the legal sphere.
- Development and implementation of digital solutions for process automation. As a result, there will be fewer manual operations, reducing unnecessary costs.
- Training of lawyers in digital literacy. Such knowledge will help specialists adapt to rapidly changing technological requirements.
- Collaboration with IT companies. This will provide access to advanced technologies in software development and digital platforms.
- Analysis of opportunities for implementing new technologies, such as artificial intelligence. It will help determine the potential and prospects for using these technologies in legal practice.
These actions are aimed at providing more efficient and accessible legal assistance and integrating the legal community into information technology platforms.
Since the digitalization of legal practice is a key factor in modern legal development, the work of the committee on this issue under the leadership of Andriy Prykhodko is strategically important for the further development of the legal profession and ensuring the accessibility of legal assistance for all citizens.
