My question
Greetings 👋
My name is Alexander, I am your personal manager. Let me help you!

Recently, our team was asked a question: “I have a business servicing beach hotels in Florida, and during the season it is simply impossible to find enough local workers. I was advised to look into the H-2B visa. Where does the process begin, and how far in advance should I start applying to be in time for the season?”
We wanna share the answer from our specialists:
14.08.2025 01:20:43 The H-2B process starts with filing a temporary labor certification request with the Department of Labor, proving there aren’t enough U.S. workers for the job. After certification, you file a petition with USCIS, and then workers apply for visas. You should begin 6–8 months before your peak season to secure approvals in time.
14.08.2025 01:31:50 To hire H-2B workers, first submit a temporary labor certification application to the DOL showing a shortage of local labor. Once approved, file with USCIS and have workers apply at the consulate. Start at least half a year ahead of your busy season so there’s enough time for each step without delays.
